Hickman County’s Breece receives award from TTU

Rachael Breece of Centerville, Tenn., was recently honored by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Breece, daughter of Carol and Randy Breece of Brighton, Tenn., received the Mary Patterson Scholarship from TTU’s computer science department. Breece, a junior computer science/computer engineering major, is chairperson for ACM-W and plans to earn a master’s degree in computer science. She is a 2009 graduate of Brighton High School.
