Brian Sommerville’s ceramic sculpture exhibit, entitled FORGIVE US ALL, will be showing through November 3 in Gallery Two.
Mark Rooker’s metal and mixed media exhibit, entitled “The stars or ourselves?”, will be showing through November 6 in Gallery One.
Jenna Rice will hold her senior flute recital on Sunday, October 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Brittani Taylor will hold her senior saxophone recital on Sunday, October 26 at 3 p.m.
McMillan and Yates will hold a tuba recital on Monday, October 27, at 7 p.m.
Dr. Kelly Thomas will present a guest tuba recital on Monday, October 27 at 8 p.m.
There will be a choral concert on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a tuba ensemble concert on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a Contemporary Music Lecture Recital on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.
The Cumberland Quintet will hold a concert on Thursday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Tracy Luna will hold a graduate tuba recital on Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m.
Curry, Long, and Newlan will hold a euphonium and tuba recital on Friday, October 31 at 8:30 p.m.
Chamber Music for euphoniums and tubas will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 4 p.m.
Kabe and Smith will hold a tuba recital on Saturday, November 1 at 7 p.m.
Adam Goad will hold a euphonium recital on Saturday, November 1 at 8:30 p.m.
Center Stage Events
The second of four films in the international film series, Halfouine: Boy of the Terraces, will be shown on Wednesday, October 29 at 7 p.m. in the Library Media Center.
Joan Derryberry Art Gallery
William E. Hubschmitt, Ph.D. will exhibit his digital artwork in the Joan Derryberry Art Gallery from October 27 through the November 21. The reception and gallery talk will be held on October 28 at 4:30 p.m.
The Appalachian Center for Craft is located six miles off Hwy. 56 (Interstate 40, Exit 273) near Smithville. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the University Center and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
