Jackson County’s Dyer receives TTU’s W. A. Howard award

Courtney LeeAnn Dyer, of Bloomington Springs, was recognized by Tennessee Tech University President Bob Bell for her academic achievements at last month’s commencement ceremony.

Dyer, a graduate of Jackson County High School, graduated summa cum laude from TTU and received the W. A. Howard award at TTU’s commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 17, in recognition of her perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average.

Dyer majored in business.
