John Rose donates to TTU’s Oakley STEM Center

thumb_John_Rose_imageJohn Rose donates $100,000 to the Millard Oakley Center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Tennessee Tech University during a recent visit to the campus. Rose (center), a 1988 TTU graduate with a degree in agribusiness economics, is president of the TTU Foundation and president of Boson Software LLC, a Nashville-based information technology training provider. TTU Vice President for University Advancement J. Mark Hutchins (left) and TTU President Bob Bell accept the donation on behalf of the university. The Oakley STEM Center improves the way teachers and professors — from preschool through college — teach science, technology, engineering and math-related subjects, and helps students of all ages learn to enjoy them.
