"I was desperate to get a piece of information that was critical to my application," said Deborah Gentry, a TTU graduate ('69, '06, '07). Gentry explained she had worked with the testing service to get this information, but to no avail. Without the score, she would possibly be disqualified for consideration to the doctoral program.
"As soon as Ms. Reynolds heard the desperation in my voice, her first order of business was to calm me down and to assure me that she was sure there was a record somewhere of the information I needed. Even though it was almost four o'clock on a Friday afternoon, Kathy stayed on her job until she found the information I needed [and mailed it].
"I could not have asked for anyone to have been more professional, kind, or to have gone out of their way to help me than Kathy Reynolds that afternoon," Gentry said.
Reynolds has been with the university since November 2001.
Ambassador nomination forms are available from TTU’s Human Resource Services or by visiting www.tntech.edu/hr.
