Fiber artist Elise Deringer’s works will be on display Jan. 17 through March 2 in the Craft Center’s Galllery Two.

Her work is woven and displayed to resemble landscapes of sand, concrete and stone. These landscapes in turn are intended to evoke a viewer’s internal landscape of changing thoughts and feelings.

The Craft Center’s three galleries are free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Craft Center is approximately six miles from Interstate 30 at exit 273, Smithville/McMinnville. Go south on state Route 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
