Ever wanted to know more about the stars and your universe? Here's your chance – Tennessee Tech University's Millard Oakley STEM Center offers free Virtual Theater Experiences on Fridays at 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. this semester.
This spring Marc Robinson returns to host the exciting Virtual Theater tours. Start your adventure at 4 p.m. with To the Edge & Back: A Tour of the Universe, followed at 4:30 p.m. by the History of Astronomy Part I: Our Solar System.
"I'm really pleased to introduce the History of Astronomy Part I this semester," said Marc Robinson, TTU graduate student and Virtual Theater technician. "The Virtual Theater offers our visitors unique opportunities to access the universe in a wide-screen, planetarium-like setting."
These interesting and educational 20- and 30-minute tours of space are perfect outings for school groups, families, and individuals interested in knowing more about our existing and changing universe.
