Moore County’s Bedford receives award from TTU

Matthew Bedford of Lynchburg, Tenn., was recently honored by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Bedford, son of Mary and David Bedford, received the Algood and Elizabeth Carlen Scholarship from TTU’s physics department. A senior math and physics major, Bedford is a member of the SGA Senate, Honors Council, Kappa Mu Epsilon math honor society and Phi Kappa Phi national honor society. He is a 2005 Tullahoma High School graduate.
