Morgan fiber art exhibit at Derryberry Gallery through Feb. 8Melissa Anne Morgan will present an exhibit in fiber art and surface painting in the Joan Derryberry Art Gallery from Jan. 14 through Feb. 8. There will be a gallery talk and reception on Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m. Morgan has a bachelor of arts degree in painting from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and a master of fine arts degree in printmaking from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She has won awards and shown her work in exhibits around the country.

A metals and wood exhibit by Robert Marsh, Cory Robinson, Jeffery Clancy and David Clemons, entitled, ‘2+2,’ will be shown in Gallery Two from Jan. 14 through Feb. 18.
Mary Frisbee Johnson will present a metals and jewelry exhibit, entitled, ‘New Works in Tin and Silver’ Jan. 28 through March 10 in the North Windows Gallery.
The Appalachian Center for Craft is located six miles off Hwy. 56 (Interstate 40, Exit 273) near Smithville. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the University Center and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
