‘PowerPoint for Small Business’ seminar series set
The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will conduct a two-part seminar series entitled “PowerPoint 2007 for Small Business” on Nov. 10 and Nov. 12. The series will be presented by Vickie Vila.
This seminar will offer an opportunity for hands-on training in the use of PowerPoint software. The first session will have a particular emphasis on the uses of PowerPoint for small business and the basics of creating, editing and customizing a PowerPoint presentation. The second session will cover more advanced topics such as adding custom animation to your presentation and using the slide master to create custom presentation backgrounds and layouts.
Both sessions are 3:30-6 p.m. in TTU’s Johnson Hall, Room 307. The cost for the seminar is $10, which includes both sessions and a detailed reference handout.
Pre-registration is required and the size of the class is limited. Registration may be done by phone at (931) 372-3706, or online at www.cookevillesbdc.org.
