Putnam County natives initiated to TTU’s Alpha Mu Gamma

thumb IckesTigciMartin_PutnamAshley Nicole Ickes of Cookeville, Mari Tigci of Bloomington Springs, and Martin Martin-Thomas were all recently honored by Tennessee Tech University for their studies in foreign language.

Ickes, Tigci, and Martin-Thomas were initiated to the Eta Psi Chapter of Alpha Mu Gamma, or the National Foreign Honor Society, at Tennessee Tech due to their interest in foreign language studies. Only 22 students were selected for this honor.

Ickes was honored for her focus on German, while Martin-Thomas and Tigci were honored for their focus on Spanish.
