Tennessee Students Attend Governor's School at TTU

Tennessee students are attending The Governor's School for Information Technology Leadership conducted at Tennessee Tech University. The five-week summer residence program is designed to provide an opportunity for gifted and talented high school students to develop their knowledge of information technology and business leadership.

A part of the Tennessee Governor's School program, TTU's program allows students in the 10th and 11th grades to participate in a challenging and high intensity program. Participants chosen through a competitive process who complete the program earn six hours of college credit in the information technology field. While staying on a college campus, students build a business plan, contribute to community projects and share fun activities on nights and weekends.
