thumb Daniel_Hassler_ImageDaniel Hassler II, of Crossville, will host his solo thesis show at Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft Dec. 10-16.

Hassler’s show, Against all Odds, consists of some of the best pieces Hassler has made during his time in the Craft Center’s wood studios. All art students are required to host a solo show as their culminating academic experience before graduating with their bachelor of fine arts degree.

The Craft Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 23. It will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2.

The Craft Center is located approximately six miles off Interstate 40 at exit 273, Smithville/McMinnville. Go south on state Route 56 and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
