SMITH COUNTY STUDENT NAMED TO TTU COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AMBASSADOR TEAM

Smith County student Nathan Manning was selected to be part of the College of Business Student Ambassador's team at Tennessee Tech University.

Manning is a junior accounting major. He graduated from Gordonsville High School in 2008. He received the HOPE, Who's Who Academic Excellence Award, Foundation Business and the Bass Memorial scholarships.

Manning is an active member in the accounting club, Wal-Mart Safety Team and Carthage Full Gospel Church Worship. Manning is the son of Tommy and Amy Manning and the grandson of Billy and Eunice Manning and Robby Richardson.

The College of Business Student Ambassadors are students with strong communications skills. The group helps the college with several important endeavors including hosting various COB events (such as Fall Celebration donor dinner, Homecoming, WOW, Student-to-Career programs), making recruitment visits to high schools and community colleges, and providing tours of Johnson Hall and the TTU campus.
