Summer workshop faculty exhibit runs through Aug. 3 at TTU's Craft Center

An exhibition featuring an extensive variety of works by visiting summer faculty will be on display through Aug. 3 in Gallery One of the Appalachian Center for Craft, a satellite campus of Tennessee Tech University.

Artists come from across the United States each year to lead summer workshop sessions at the Craft Center, and their work represents a wide range of functional and conceptual fine craft in clay, glass, metal, fibers, wood and mixed media.

The Craft Center is located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273. To get to it, take Highway 56 south toward Smithville and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge.

For more information about the summer workshops, faculty exhibit or other programs, call the Craft Center at 931/372-3051 or 615/597-6801 or visit its web site at www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/.
