Scholarship recipients must be Tennessee residents in good academic standing. The scholarship is renewable to help support a student’s studies for four years at Tennessee Tech University.
“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to support Tennessee Tech students from the Upper Cumberland area, and we congratulate Ben for qualifying for this award,” said Steve Forgey, Community Bank president. “The focus for our Edscholar program is to attract Tennessee residents and try to keep them here in Tennessee after they graduate.”
Since the Edscholar program began in 2003, more than $520,000 has been given to scholarship recipients.
