Support Tech teams 'Cooking on the Square'

The campus community has 10 more good reasons to support "Cooking on the Square" this Friday.
Ten teams from Tennessee Tech will be cooking and serving at Putnam County's Habitat for Humanity featured annual fundraiser. And if you don't want to fight for a parking space and risk getting back to work or class late, you can ride the CATS bus for free.
"We will have a Tech Village of sorts," said Suzann Hensley, assistant director of campus recreation. "It would be awesome if Tech folks would take advantage of the free CATS bus service and come down to support the Tech cook teams."
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the courthouse square. For a $15 donation, attendees you can choose a handmade bowl and sample all-you-can-eat specialty gumbo and other offerings.
The Tech teams will be located on the northwest side of the courthouse next to Poet's.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can board the bus for free by saying "Show Me the Gumbo!" The CATS bus route will be on its regular campus schedule with Green and Purple routes, so you can catch the bus at the following locations and times after the hour:
