Teleconference to focus on electric motor systems

Seeking profits and increased productivity are themes of the U.S. Department of Energy's Motor Challenge Teleconference on Tuesday, May 19, at Tennessee Technological University.

Anyone who manages electric motor systems is invited to the free conference, "Efficient Motor Systems II: Your Path to Profits," to be held in the university library's media center located on the lower level.

"A panel of experts will hold a question and answer session about improving the bottom line," said Tennessee Tech associate mechanical engineering professor Glenn Cunningham. "The conference is also a good opportunity to make new business contacts and strengthen existing partnerships."

Attendees can receive two continuing education hours for the event. The teleconference will be broadcast from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
