‘The Art of Business’ networking event set
SPARTA, Tenn. – A networking and panel discussion for artists interested in learning more about how to market their creations is set for 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Fragrant Mushroom in Sparta.
The event is geared toward working artists and covers such topics as pricing of art for local customers vs. galleries, posting artwork online and protecting it, and what to do about unauthorized use of artwork. A networking reception will immediately follow the panel.

The event is presented by the Cookeville Small Business Development Center, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development’s Business Enterprise Resource Office and is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week Nov. 16-22.
