Newcomers to Microsoft Office 2010 may encounter some unfamiliar features. Staff from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University are offering a free seminar series in March about Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher 2010.

The series, Microsoft Office 2010 for Business Use, will be from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 11-15 in Johnson 307. Attendees will receive a reference workbook to keep.

The same sessions will be held each day.

Microsoft Word will be the subject for Monday, March 11. Excel for Beginners will be on Tuesday and a more advanced session will be Thursday. Microsoft Publisher will be discussed Wednesday, and PowerPoint will be covered Friday.

Johnson Hall is at 1105 N. Peachtree Ave in Cookeville.

Though there is no cost for the sessions, registration is required. Sign up online at www.helpmysmallbusiness.org/training or call (931) 372-3648.
