TSBDC at TTU offers seminar about starting a small business

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will offer a free seminar, “How to start a small business.” It will address topics of interest to potential entrepreneurs and new small business owners, including start-up basics, challenges, planning, cash needs, financing options and more.

The seminar will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Oldham Theater in Sparta, Tenn. It is co-sponsored by the Sparta/White County Chamber of Commerce. Center Director Vicki Henley will lead the seminar.

The TSBCD network provides free counseling to potential entrepreneurs and small business owners and operates statewide to assist the small business community.
