TSBDC at TTU to host seminar about starting a business

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Tennessee Tech University will sponsor a free seminar, “How to Start a Small Business,” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 in the Progressive Savings Bank conference room at 1080 Interstate Drive, Cookeville.

Topics will include business startup basics and challenges, business structures, cash needs, business planning, financing options and more. The seminar will be presented by Vicki Henley, director of the TSBDC at TTU.

The seminar will be helpful for entrepreneurs thinking about starting a business or those who have been in business a short time.
