TTU 2007 summer graduates announcedAbout 418 graduates walked across the stage at Tennessee Tech University’s Hooper Eblen Center this summer, bringing TTU’s overall graduation total to more than 61,000 since 1915.
TTU was ranked this year in U.S.News and World Report magazine’s 2008 America’s Best Colleges as one of the Top 10 public universities in the South, and 25th among the best universities — both public and private — for the Southern region.
In addition, for the fourth consecutive year, TTU was included in The Princeton Review “America’s Best Value Colleges” guidebook. The university was also named one of America’s 100 Best Value College Buys by Institutional Research and Evaluation Inc.
A member of the Tennessee Board of Regents, TTU ranks first in alumni satisfaction among all other TBR universities. The university offers 44 undergraduate degree and 21 graduate degree programs, including the Ph.D. in engineering, environmental sciences and education.
The university’s newest alumni came from 37 states, including Tennessee, 76 Tennessee counties and 43 foreign countries.
