7 p.m. – Minute to Win It game night for TTU students at 7 p.m. in RUC multipurpose room. To participate, entry forms are due Oct. 18.
Thursday, Oct. 24:
6 p.m. – Pep Rally in Memorial Gym.
Friday, Oct. 25:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Spirit Day. Students will be dressed in costumes following the board game theme or showing their Tech Pride.
6:30 p.m. – TTU Athletics Hall of Fame 2013 induction. Purchase tickets for $25 at www.ttusports.com. The ceremony is in the Roaden University Center second-floor multipurpose room.
Saturday, Oct. 26:
9 a.m. – TTU Alumni Continental Breakfast in the Roaden University Center second-floor lobby. There is an indoor viewing area for those who wish to watch the parade from inside.
9:30 a.m. – TTU College of Business Parade-Watching Party on Dixie Avenue. Lee and Kim Jones will host a party for business alumni at their home, 67 N. Dixie Ave. RSVP at www.tntech.edu/cob by Oct. 23. Breakfast pastries, coffee and hot chocolate will be available.
10:30 a.m. – Homecoming Parade along Dixie Ave.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – MS Cooper/Pinkerton Hall Alumni Open House and Reception. Following the parade, tour the newly renovated residence hall. This is phase one of seven planned renovations phases to be completed over the next six years. Light refreshments will be served in the Pinkerton classroom, at the end of the first floor hall.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Tailgate Lunch, Departmental and Club Displays, and Family Activities at the 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park. Fans and groups will be able to reserve their space in the tailgating area by contacting Leveda Birdwell, director of corporate sales and marketing for TTU Athletics, at (931) 372-3937.
11:30 a.m. – College of Business Alumni Lunch with TTU President Phil Oldham, professors and staff in Johnson Hall. RSVP to www.tntech.edu/cob by Oct. 23.
1:30 p.m. – Homecoming Football Game against Jacksonville State at Tucker Stadium.
Postgame – Chemistry Alumni Reception in Foster Hall. Tours of the building will be available in addition to several varieties of chili and dessert.
Postgame – Civil and Environmental Alumni/Student Pig Roast and Barbecue. The civil and environmental engineering department and the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers will host their annual pulled pork dinner, free to department alumni, students and their guests. The dinner will be in the large tent next to the tennis courts.
5 p.m. – Geekbox Jam Concert featuring Joe Diffie and Darryl Worley at Hooper Eblen Center. Special guests are Brian Kelley, Liars Chair, Gypsy Drifter Mike and Miss American Rat Rod. Purchase tickets at www.ttusports.com.
