TTU announces local Spring 2010 graduates
Tennessee Tech University’s Spring 2010 graduates included one or more students from the local community.
More than 1,100 graduates received degrees at a commencement ceremony in early May. Students who graduated from TTU this spring hailed from 23 states, 77 Tennessee counties and eight foreign countries. They represented 41 undergraduate fields of study and 16 graduate fields.
Tennessee Tech is one of the nation's 50 "Best Value" public colleges and universities according to The Princeton Review. It was one of only three universities in Tennessee — the only one in its region — to make the list.
U.S.News & World Report’s most recent list of “America’s Best Colleges” recognizes TTU as the only Tennessee school ranked for students who graduate with the least amount of debt. According to that report, 60 percent of TTU’s students graduate debt free.
