TTU arts roundup for March 9: TTU Flute Day March 20
Appalachian Center for Craft
- The Bachelor of Fine Arts Juried Exhibition will continue until Monday, March 29, in Gallery One.
- 2010 Celebration of Craft, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 10. Admission is free. Experience craft demonstrations and hands-on craft projects for children. Live music.
- The Artist in Residence Annual Exhibition, consisting of six current artists in residence, will be shown through April 12 in Gallery Two.
Center Stage
- Rowandan genocide survivor Immaculée Ilibagiza brings her story of faith to campus 7 p.m. March 16 in the Derryberry Hall Auditorium.
- Ron Barron, principal trombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1975 until 2008, public recital, 7:30 p.m., March 28, Wattenbarger Auditorium

- Jack Girard’s collage and mixed works will show until Saturday, March 20.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is located six miles off Highway 56 (Interstate 40, Exit 273) near Smithville. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the Roaden University Center and is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
