TTU College of Business dedicates classroom
The Tennessee Tech University College of Business dedicated its second-largest classroom in memory of the late Dean Louis Johnson and his wife, Virgina Wilcox Johnson.
The dedication celebrates renovation of Room 401 in Johnson Hall, which was made possible following a gift from Johnson’s son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John and Claire Johnson of Spartanburg, S.C. Providing valuable in-kind assistance for the renovation was Horace Burks, owner of Cookeville-based architectural millwork company Fixtur-World.
The classroom accommodates 100 students with plush theater-style seating and the latest teaching technology.
TTU President Bob Bell and College of Business Dean James Jordan-Wagner present Claire Johnson and Dr. John Johnson with a token of TTU’s appreciation at the dedication April 28.
