TTU Craft Center artists exhibited at Belmont University

What happens when the Appalachian Center for Craft, a satellite campus of Tennessee Tech University, establishes an artistic partnership with Nashville’s Belmont University?

The result is an exhibit of contemporary craft made by Craft Center faculty and resident artists that will be on display through July 8 at the Nashville campus’s Lue Art Gallery.

“Many people in Tennessee do not realize that we have a national treasure in our midst. The Appalachian Center for Craft hosts a group of the best artists in the nation,” said Victoria Boone, director of the Lue Art Gallery.

“Clay, fiber, wood, glass and metals have played an integral part in making everyday life easier, and this exhibit will astound and delight viewers with a wide range of aesthetics and technical approaches by some of the best craft people in the field today,” she continued.
