TTU Craft Center hosts show by New Mexico-inspired artist
A selection of her works will be on exhibit at Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft until Thursday, June 14, in Gallery One.
The galleries are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
Crain-Jager’s paintings are constructed using various methods. She scratches, peels, scrapes, chisels and sands her mixed-media canvases, using acrylic paint, paper, modeling pastes, charcoal and oil sticks, among other things.
The Appalachian Center for Craft is conveniently located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on Hwy. 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
