thumb MetalsStudioShowEvery year in the fall, one of the five studios at the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University showcases some of its best student pieces.

Until Dec. 2, undergraduates from the metals studio will have work on display in the Craft Center’s Gallery One. Pieces range from fine jewelry to blacksmithing and most are by students preparing for their senior solo exhibit.

The Craft Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 23. It will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2.

The Craft Center is located approximately six miles off Interstate 40 at exit 273, Smithville/McMinnville. Go south on state Route 56 and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
