TTU Craft Center presents BFA exhibit by Jessie Bean Goodman

Jessie Bean Goodman’s exploration of a Hidden World for her bachelor of fine arts senior thesis exhibit begins Wednesday, April 26, and runs through April 30 at the Appalachian Center for Craft from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The exhibit will occupy the North Windows Gallery. An artist's reception will be held on Friday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Goodman is originally from the Mississippi Delta. Her work in glass exemplifies the nature of microbiology and the inspiration it creates within an artist.

“The images and patterns I choose are not exact replicas of microbes or cells, but rather designs that have been inspired by them,” says Goodman.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273. Go south on Highway 56 and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge.
