The newest faculty member of Tennessee Tech University’s music and art department will offer a clarinet recital at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in Wattenbarger Auditorium.
Wonkak Kim will be joined by pianist Grace Eun-Hye Choi for four pieces by different composers. The duo will play pieces by Schumann and Brahms, among others.
Kim joined the music and art department over the summer. Before coming to TTU, he has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the Louvre in Paris, among others. His performances have been praised in The Washington Post as well as The New York Concert Review.
Wattenbarger Auditorium is located in the Bryan Fine Arts building on the TTU campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
