TTU, high school choirs provide holiday good cheer

thumb_candlelightchorale-10Choirs from Tennessee Tech University and area high schools will offer up some cheerful holiday voices at performances Dec. 4 and 5.

The choral Candlelight Christmas Concerts will be held at the Cookeville High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. The concerts are to be conducted by TTU’s Craig Zamer.

Tickets are $5 and can be reserved by calling 931-372-6175. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.

The venue for this year’s concerts has changed to Cookeville High School Auditorium because the university is hosting the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) football championships Dec. 3-5.  Parking on campus will be severely limited during those days.
