TTU Parent and Family Weekend is set for Oct. 3, 4

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 25, 2008) – It’s not too late to register for Parent and Family weekend at Tennessee Tech University set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3 and 4.

The event provides an opportunity for parents and family members of TTU students to see and experience first-hand the campus of the university their child is attending.

All of the weekend’s events, except the Parents Association dinner with TTU President Bob Bell and the Parents Association board meeting, are open to everyone who wishes to attend. Attendance for those particular events, however, requires membership in the university’s Parents Association.

Among the many events over the weekend that will be open to all who attend are muffins for moms-donuts for dads, various cultural and entertainment events, and gatherings for the specific academic colleges and schools.
