TTU percussion ensemble holds fall concert
Tennessee Tech University’s percussion ensemble will have a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in the Bryan Fine Arts building on campus.
The ensemble will perform Christopher Adler’s “Signals Intelligence,” Tobias Brostrom’s “Twilight,” Jennifer Higdon’s “Splendid Wood” and the third movement of Eric Ewazen’s “Palace of Nine Perfections.”
The concert will feature leading xylophonist Bob Becker and the Nief-Norf Project, a chamber percussion collective that promotes contemporary music.
Both guest artists will join the percussion ensemble in one piece. Becker’s appearance is made possible through the help of TTU Center Stage and the percussion club.
The concert is free and open to the public.
