TTU presents Festival of Four world music ensemble on Feb. 24

Tennessee Tech University welcomes the Festival of Four at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Wattenbarger Auditorium of the Bryan Fine Arts Building.

The world music ensemble consists of a unique blend of sounds from the classical guitar, flamenco guitar, flute, and mandolin, and the group has toured extensively throughout the United States and has appeared internationally in Malaysia.

“The four musicians performed throughout with sensitivity and grace, each masters of their instruments. Their dynamics, ensemble feel and intonation were superb,” says a review in an Illinois newspaper, The Journal-Standard.

The ensemble promotes the arts and enhances their concert appearances while providing in-depth residency activities within the community.

Members of the Festival of Four are Guillermo Rios, flamenco guitar; Viviana Guzman, flute; Radim Zenkl, mandolin; and Richard Patterson, guitar.

The concert is a Center Stage event that is free and open to the public.
