TTU professor Joseph Ojo named IEEE Fellow
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers has more than 400,000 members in 160 countries. Each year, fewer than one-tenth of one percent of the voting membership obtains the Fellow grade.
Ojo was selected “for contributions to dual stator winding electric machines,” according to the IEEE website. At Tennessee Tech, he teaches and researches in the Center for Energy Systems Research.
He has been at TTU since 1987. He has a doctoral degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
