TTU Small Business Development Center, Regions Bank host seminar

The Tennessee Tech University Small Business Development Center will co-host a seminar with Regions Bank on the importance of credit.

“Knowing and Understanding Your Credit” is the title of the seminar being presented from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, at the Vocational Rehab Center located at 955 E. 20th St. in Cookeville. This event is co-sponsored by Regions Bank.

Led by Debbie Reynolds, a small business banker, and Becky Greer, a community banker, the seminar will be an FDIC Money Smart Program about the importance of knowing and understanding your credit.

The seminar will specifically focus on your credit score and how it can affect borrowing money for your business, and ways to build and repair a poor credit history.

Although admission is free, registration is encouraged and can be done by visiting the web site at http://www.cookevillesbdc.org or by calling the TSBDC’s office at TTU at (931) 372-3706.
