TTU's Alice Camuti elected president of TACE

Alice Camuti, director of Career Services at Tennessee Tech University, was recently elected as president of the Tennessee Association of Colleges and Employers.

TACE is an association of Tennessee colleges and universities, state and technical institutes, and employers of students and graduates of these institutions.   Members have joined together to enhance understanding and cooperation among institutions of higher education and their employers.

As 2007-2008 president, Camuti will provide leadership and direction to the 170 member organization.   TACE conducts workshops and seminars for their members across the state and an annual membership meeting each May.   Camuti will be instrumental in developing programming for these events.

Earlier this year, Camuti received TACE's prestigious Lumsden-Sellars Award for outstanding leadership, loyalty, and dedication. She has served as TTU's director of Career Services for seven years and resides in Cookeville with her husband, Andy, and daughter and son, Ashlynne and Alex.
