Scheduled to perform with him are fellow TTU professors Paul Thurmond, on harpsichord and piano, and soprano Diane Pulte.
The program will feature select works from around the world, and music includes works by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, French composer Emmanuel Chabrier and Cuban composer Paquito D’Rivera. Also being featured is music from fellow American bassoonist Peter Schickele.
James Lotz has served TTU for 15 years. He is a studio musician and also on the faculty of the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. He is a member of both the Nashville Symphony and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra.
Wattenbarger Auditorium is located inside the Bryan Fine Arts Building on the TTU campus and the recital is free and open to the general public.
