TTU’s Visual Art Society Invites You to the 2009 Holiday Art & Fine Craft Sale
Tennessee Tech’s Visual Art Society, a student art organization, will be presenting its annual Holiday Art and Fine Craft Sale in the Joan Derryberry Art Gallery in TTU’s Roaden University Center on Thursday, Dec. 3 (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Friday, Dec. 4 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
The sale features blown glass vessels, ornaments, paperweights, and sculpture; fine jewelry and decorative ironwork; photography and paintings; hand-made pottery and ceramic work; fibers, textiles and, more.
“Say seasons greetings this holiday with one-of-a-kind gifts and shop TTU’s Visual Art Society sale,” said Lyla Nelson, VAS president. “Not only can you find unique hand-crafted gifts, but also, help VAS raise funds for art students to attend national conferences, host visiting artists, and gain professional presentation experience.
