Two from Knox County honored by TTU
Tennessee Tech University students Mary Manneschmidt and Chelsea Ottenfeld of Knoxville are the 2012 recipients of scholarships from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Manneschmidt, a 2010 graduate of Farragut High School and independent home schooling, is the daughter of Eric and Margaret Manneschmidt of Knoxville and is a junior French major at TTU. She received the Marshall and Thelma Bertram Scholarship.
Manneschmidt is a member of TTU’s Avant-Garde and Alpha Mu Gamma.
Ottenfield, a 2009 graduate of Farragut High School, is the daughter of Conrad and Lynn Ottenfield and is a junior geology major at TTU. She received the Lonnie Glasscock Scholarship.
Ottenfield plans to continue her education after graduation and receive her master’s degree.
