Tennessee Tech University students Lydia Brown and Kenton Curtis of Lafayette are the 2012 recipients of the History Faculty Scholarship from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Brown, a 2009 graduate of Macon County High School, is the daughter of Fred and Melinda Brown of Lafayette and granddaughter of Elizabeth Cothron.
Brown is president of Phi Alpha Theta and a member of Alpha Mu Gamma and the TTU Commission on the Status of Women.
Curtis, a 2010 graduate of Macon County High School, is the son of Marty and Debbie Curtis of Lafayette. Curtis is a sophomore History Major at TTU.
