Two from Warren County receive awards from TTU

thumb Warren-CowanHillTara Cowan and Meaghan Hill, both of McMinnville, were awarded for their studies this spring by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Cowan, a junior majoring in political science, received the Paul G. Stephenson scholarship. She is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the pre-law club and a member of the Constitution Day committee. She plans to attend law school after graduation. Daughter of Jim and Pam Cowan and sister of Hannah and Matthew, she is a 2010 graduate of Warren County High School.

Hill received the Joan Barber scholarship and the Sheila Officer scholarship. A junior English major, she is a 2010 graduate of Warren County High School. Daughter of Mark and Sandra and sister of Amelia, she is a member of TTU’s Mortar Board honor society.
