Two Knox County students receive awards from TTU (Starnes/Faust)

Andrew Starnes, son of Lee Ann and Rick Starnes, received the Grateful Heart Mathematics Scholarship. A junior mathematics major, Starnes is a 2007 graduate of the Christian Academy of Knoxville.
Ted Mahan Faust, son of Edgar and Lynn Faust, received the Bartoo Award from TTU’s biology department. The senior wildlife science and environmental biology major is a 2006 graduate of Knoxville’s Webb School. He serves as vice president for the Society for Conservation Biology and is a member of the Wildlife Society.
