Van Buren County’s Johnson receives award from TTU

Jamie Alexis Johnson, a 2000 graduate of Van Buren County High School, was recently honored by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Johnson received the Joan Barber Scholarship from TTU’s English department. She was previously awarded the William Jenkins Scholarship. A senior English major, Johnson is an assistant director at the university’s Backdoor Playhouse.
