Award-winning video artist Jennifer Moller will give a lecture on digital animation at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in Tennessee Tech University’s Johnson Hall Auditorium.

Moller’s photography, videos and installations, which gravitate toward the philosophical, have been exhibited nationally. For several years, she also curated film festivals at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum on Cape Cod, Mass.

To help further appreciation for the arts, Moller joined forces with sculptor Beth Ireland on a community arts education project called Turning Around America. In 2013, Moller and Ireland built a mobile art studio for the project called “Sanctuary.”

Moller will conduct a digital animation workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 28 and March 1 in the Foundation Hall digital media lab.

Moller’s visit is sponsored by TTU’s Center Stage, which is made possible by the university’s general education fund. The event is free and open to the public.

Johnson Hall is located at 1105 North Peachtree Ave. Foundation Hall is at 242 E. 10th Street.
