thumb Meredith_LewisArtists from across the country come to teach workshops at Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft every summer, and a selection of works by each of them will be on display in its Gallery One.

The show, on display May 17 through Aug. 2, includes pieces from all media taught at the Craft Center: clay, glass, fibers, wood and metal, in addition to mixed media.

The Craft Center’s summer workshops are open to people of all skill levels, from beginning to advanced. Room and board is available on a limited basis to participants. For more information, visit www.tntech.edu/craftcenter.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on state Route 56; turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
