Wake County’s Fowler recognized by Tennessee Tech University

thumb AS-WakeNCChristopher Fowler, of Raleigh, was awarded the Physics Award from the College of Arts and Sciences at Tennessee Tech University this spring.

Fowler, who graduated in May, was a physics major at TTU. Son of Andrus and Phillip Fowler, he is a 2009 graduate of Panther Creek High School.

During his time at TTU, he worked at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at Oak Ridge National Lab. He plans to go to graduate school to pursue a doctoral degree in condensed matter physics.
