Williamson County’s Shaffernocker selected to join TTU College of Business mentor program

Tara Shaffernocker of Franklin has been chosen to join the College of Business Mentors Program at Tennessee Tech University.

Shaffernocker is a marketing major at TTU and is expected to graduate in 2014. She is a graduate of Franklin High School.

The mentor program provides opportunities for students to gain exposure to the real world of work through interaction with a professional in an area closely related to their major. Students see what the business world is like and talk one-on-one about issues facing other professionals to give them insight into the business world. A business mentor can make a difference in a student’s career selection and job preparation.
